Buang
Bauang Beach is a popular destination for tourists. Ideally located to take a trip to Baguio City (1 hour) and places like 100 Islands (2 hours). Poro Point is just north of Bauang beach and that has a recreational nightlife area. You can hire Banka boats to take you fishing or snorkeling at some of the best reef sites around by Poro Point. There is a fine selection of beach resorts and several nightspots located along the National Highway, a few kilometers from Bauang itself. Scuba diving is also available at Bauang.
San Fernando
Just a few Km's to the north of Bauang, you will find the capital of the La Union province, San Fernando . There are both city and beach hotels.
San Juan
About an hour north of San Fernando is San Juan where you will find some of the great, hardly used surfing beaches of the Philippines.
